The War Remnants Museum, a unit under the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City, serves as a poignant reminder of the devastating effects of war. As a member of the World Council of Museums (ICOM), this museum is dedicated to preserving and displaying the material evidence of the crimes committed during the Vietnam War.

The museum houses an extensive collection of over 20,000 documents, artifacts, and films, offering a comprehensive look at the war’s impact on Vietnam. Visitors can explore eight thematic exhibitions, each delving into different aspects of the conflict.
